Meta is seeking Research Interns to join various teams in Responsible AI to develop next generation products and platforms doing research and engineering at scale. As a Research Intern, you will help us bring the best of Artificial Intelligence technology to Meta products. Our efforts are to push the bar in three directions: build reliable platforms that scale to thousands of engineers, push state of the art in AI for maximum product impact and build new experiences using AI.
The Responsible AI organization within Meta develops applied research on the field of Fairness, Robustness, Safety, Transparency, Control, Governance and Accountability. Building AI systems with a Responsible AI mindset requires interdisciplinary understanding of issues and potential harms leveraged by AI, development of novel technologies to enable measurement, root cause analysis, and mitigation of issues, and scaled platforms to ship a positive impact to the billions of people that use Meta products every day.
Our team offers twelve (12) to twenty-four (24) weeks long internships with Summer, Fall, and Winter start dates. Internships will be awarded on a rolling basis and candidates are encouraged to apply early.

People who choose to build their careers by building with us at Meta help shape a future that will take us beyond what digital connection makes possible today—beyond the constraints of screens, the limits of distance, and even the rules of physics.
